         According to a survey, these are some beliefs of the inhabitants of Santiago:

- The main characteristics that describe themselves people of Santiago are: ambitious, arrogant, aggressive and individualistic. 
- La Moneda, the Cerro San Cristobal and geographical landmarks Cordillera are most associated with our capital. 
- Most memorable milestones the capital are the coup of 1973 and the arrival of Pope John Paul II in 1987. 
- 51.1% of the sample of Santiago believes that the contribution of foreigners to the city is rather negative because they take jobs for Chileans. 
- The respondents state that the most important activity they do is work with 56%. For foreigners this figure rises to 66%. 
- 96% Of the Santiago believes that the pace of life in Santiago is very fast, while 67% of foreign residents agree with this statement. 
- 71% Believe that most of the inhabitants of Santiago have a poor quality of life. 
- 71% Of respondents would go to another city in Chile if I had the opportunity. 
- Basic services are well evaluated by 85.2%. 
-  It also gives to the city a high level of connectivity. 87.9% believe it is easier to communicate with the rest of the world. 
- 59% believe that there are places interesting to know and 56% say that there are many entertainment options in Santiago.


  While there are negative points there are positive things, such as connectivity and basic services. To learn and have fun, there are many and varied options, Santiago has it all.
