Located between the streets Santo Domingo, Merced and Enrique Mac Iver (Santiago Centro).
It’s urban development took place in mid-nineteenth century. Is one of the most oldest neighborhoods in Santiago.
It covers important places like the Museo de Arte contemporaneo and the Museo de Bellas Artes, also much of the Parque Forestal and part of the center of Santiago.
